About Ed

My name is Ed Kopp. Currently, I work for the Florida Department of Health and am pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy at the University of South Florida. In 2008, I graduated from Boston University with a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Before coming to BU, I attended Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida, and before that I attended St. Mary’s Episcopal Day School in Tampa, Florida for grades K through 8. I am a big fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, and science fiction in general, and I also enjoy collecting Star Trek and Star Wars memorabilia. I enjoy watching and collecting DVDs and Blu-ray discs, and as a result I now have a very large collection. I also like to play video games when I find the time, with Xbox 360 being my current system of choice. I am interested in technology in all its forms, and I find the latest advances in gadgets, computer hardware, and the internet to be particularly interesting. In addition, I’m quite fond of food adventures. Whether it be trying a new restaurant or dish, photographing my favorite foods, or revisiting a great dining establishment, I enjoy culinary adventures in most any form.
